Sebring International Rescued...
FYI - Noticed this in the June 2015 issue of Complete Kit Car magazine...
"Sebring International, maker of a number of Austin-Healey 3000 replicas, has been dormant for a number of years – but now it’s under new ownership with a refreshed vigour to market the cars.
Phil Overall approached the company with a view to buying a kit and ended up buying the company. The deal was completed just before the Stoneleigh show, which left no time for an official presence, but he and partner Sophie Fisher were on the Sebring club stand and report high levels of interest after the show. Right now, the focus is on setting up the company and re-starting the supply chain, but the lead time on kit deliveries by the time this issue goes on sale is expected to be around 10 weeks.
There’s also a plan to redevelop the car to suit a BMW 3-series (E46) donor, and that should be ready by the end of the year. Phil has a background in touring car racing, having worked with teams such as Broadspeed, Tom Walkingshaw Racing and Gerry Marshall Racing. More recently, he has been involved with the current NGTC spec BTCC racers. He’s taken 2015 out of motorsport to concentrate on Sebring International. www.sebringinternational.co.uk "
