Strut rod issue Empty Strut rod issue

I'm encountering an issue on my classic truck build but it also applies to the Sebring.
I go to install my strut rods the other day on the MII front suspension and find out they're too long (either that or the bracket is 5/8 too far forward). So I look under the Sebring to compare and see that the rubber bushing has been thinned out to accommodate the strut rod length, sub-optimal to say the least.
Now I've read about hot rod folk heating and bending strut rods to get them to fit but I don't like the idea of heating forged suspension parts.
Does anyone know of an adjustable Mustang II strut rod? Preferably with Heim joints? They seem to be widely available for earlier mustangs Mad

Hi David,
At least 10 years ago i saved this website because the owner use to make them. They are no longer listed.
He did post this info and it looks pretty doable.
