New to Forum and new Sebring owner
Hello all!
I bought a 1990 Sebring yesterday. The horn and wipers don't work so I'm looking for a wiring diagram for the car. Additionally, it doesn't have power steering and I'll want to convert to power steering in the future. When I do that do I have to replace the existing rack and pinion or can it be saved?
Thanks ahead of time for any feedback. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions because of other modifications I'd like to make.

Congrats on your Sebring purchase. I'm sure you'll have fun making it your own and enjoy the thumbs-up as you drive it.
You can find wiring diagrams in the Owners Manual/Build Manual in the Forum "Data Base". Basic troubleshooting should be able to fix the horn and the wiper is from a VW Bug.

Thank you both. I look forward to working on the vehicle. I wont get the car until later in the month but the horn and wipers are the first issues to tackle.

Re: New to Forum and new Sebring owner
Welcome!
You will have to replace the rack unless you go with electric power steering. However, EPAS is fairly expensive and involved. It will require fabrication skills unless you get one of the Flaming River steering columns with the EPAS already installed. Be prepared for $$$$$ for this option.
Traditional hydraulic power steering is pretty much a bolt-in for the most part, but will require a new rack, pump, hoses, pump mounting brackets and new steering shaft. The shaft is because the power rack has a different size and spline count on the pinion shaft.

Thanks Hotrod! I'll get after that once the horn and wipers are working.

Here is a link to another post on this forum I made about power steering. It goes into a little more detail.
