Convertible Top Replacement
Does anyone know where we can get replacement tops and boot covers for a 3000 replica?

If you still have the frame assy. you should be able to go to a place that makes boat tops and have them do it.

Hey tnt,
Agree with Du that a boat shop is your first choice.
A fellow owner near me has his frame and looked for a shop. With all the fires we had in the state last year, all the boat shops are back-logged for months. He found a shop that does not specialize in boats and is getting it done there next week. The shop is also repairing mine, adding corner windows and using mine for a pattern. So, if you're in a land locked state with no boat specialists you might try a full service shop.
I would highly advise getting corner windows.

Do you have a photo with corner windows installed? Can the be retrofitted to an existing vinyl top?

Re: Convertible Top Replacement
Instead of corner windows on mine, the previous owner had the top made with a much wider rear window that also zips out. My favorite way to drive is with the rear window removed and the side windows down as you get almost no buffeting noises and also don't have the sun beating down on you.

Hi Manx,
Yes, adding the windows can be done pretty easily by someone that knows how. I'm paying $150.00 to add windows and repair two small rips. Should have it back in a couple weeks. On cell, so I hope this works.
This is not my car.

Hey David,
I'd love to have a zip down window. Didn't think about it. Sounds like a good plan. Thanks !
Think I'll check how much more $$ to add it. Even though your rear window is bigger, the corner windows are really needed for the blind spot. I will post pictures when i get it back.

Here is a link to the tech listing in this site that I posted for you Jerry. It doesn't actually have a picture of the top with the windows installed, but it does have a pic of the windows outlined in tape.
