Convertible Top

Hello, I just purchased a 1985 Saxon Austin replica. The convertible top was lost during covid when a shop closed and tossed the frame and side windows. Can anyone recommend where I can get a replacement top? If not, can you post some pictures of your frame so I can get an idea of how to build one? Thanks

Here's a start.
There is almost always a small window on bottom of most posts the says "Similar topics".
If that isn't there, then go to the top right of the page and punch something in the "Search" field. Works pretty well.

Thanks Jerry. I was able to find your plans for the top frame. Are the measurements the same for the Saxon and Sebring bodies? Thanks

Yep. Saxon, Sebring and MX.
Have seen a few different configurations and the number of snaps on the body and top. Otherwise, all the same.

Sure. I have a new top with bows and hardware. I will take some photos this weekend and if I can figure out how to attach them I will include them.
There is not much more to say.
The top, bows and hardware are new, beige in color and available immediately.

I am still searching for a top,, or good ideas for one ie maybe modified from cobra or AH3000 or???

Hi Dave, I am going down the same rabbit hole as you. I did get plans from another member for the bow framing. I have an MG parts place making it up for me. I’ll just have to have a rag top made. If you would like to go the same route I can share the information when I get it. Let me know
