Front suspension
Hi all,
It's been a while since I have posted here....... I have put approx 2K miles on it since rego (3 years)...... I got it on a hoist today for the first time and had a really good look at the undercarriage....... looks like its stock mustang II...... I need front shocks and bushes for the arm that comes of the lower part of the suspension..... can anybody give me advice on what to get and where....????? The suspension performs reasonable good so I don't want to modify it......... also need new flex brake lines for the front and rear....... trying to get mustang II bits in australia is like finding rocking horse dodo.......
I can see lots more that I need to do but these are the most urgent at this moment.........
Regards from down under..... Robert

Check out RockAuto.com. They have a pretty good selection of Mustang II suspension parts (1974-1979 Ford Mustang), including shocks and "strut rod" bushings.

Re: Front suspension
Hello
You might be able to get them through Amazon ??? I bought all my front end suspension in a "Kit" probably cost more than it should but everything was included and didn't have to go with trial and error on things.
Here's what I found on Amazon

Hey...... hindsight is 20/20 vision.........
Craig..... I followed that link and I could not find a "kit" as such........ I just ordered the individual bits from Rockauto........ $170 for 2 shocks, 2 front brake flex lines, 1 rear brake flex line, and a bushing kit and freight to Australia..... I consider that reasonably good value.... parts here are expensive unless it's a knock off on ebay and you cannot be sure of the quality/functionality of what you are getting....... you don't know the crap I went through to get a set of front pads a year ago in australia..... myself and a mate went searching on the internet, I struck out, but my friend managed to find a company that had them.... but I was quoted ridiculous prices with over a month to get them by one company who said they could get them in.......
Dave.... thank you but I only found out 3 days ago.......
Regards Robert

Re: Front suspension
Sounds like you're all set and that is a very very good price
especially with shipping.
The link was just for the Strut Rod Bushings ;-)
Take Care,
