Door build??
I'm assembling the doors for my MX and have question please:
- in the attached pic, what is the purpose of the 1.25” diameter hole circled in red?
- what is the purpose of the two oblong holes shown circled in blue, and what are their dimensions?
- how is the rear upright window guide held in place in the door?
Thank you

Re: Door build??
Well Steve, i can answer some of that.
The red hole is to see in and access the fasteners and clips that connect to the outside door handle.
The elongated holes are to adjust the window stops.
The width is a loose 1/4" and the length is "some", about an inch should do it.
The rear window channel attachment is no longer in my feeble memory base. Looking at my build manual, it is in section 7-4. The picture shows a tab extending straight out the bottom with a hole in it. No additional narrative in the instructions and no fastener info.
Hoping someone here that has a door apart can answer that.

Re: Door build??
Thank you very much for your response!! Yup, the build manual is a tad vague.
If anyone has their door apart I would very much appreciate pictures. I don't understand the window stops nor how the rear channel is attached to the door.

Re: Door build??
The window stops are for fine and final adjustment if needed.
There's only so much travel in the up-down.
It gives you a little to play with.
Such as all the way down and still above the door or all the way up and not meeting the soft top.
Probably won't matter much.

Re: Door build??
Thank you for explanation.
Perhaps someone will have photos to help me understand the vertical guide installation and the look of the window stops?
