We're finished the build!
Hey Forum Members!
After what seems like a decade ago (well 4.5 years), sending kids to university, few family vacations, side tracked for a bit and changing jobs + the pandemic. We have finally completed the full build for our 1990 Sebring/Saxon MX#5000 project. Its been a mammoth undertaking after first finding the kit all in boxes in a warehouse to the build. Tomorrow we register/plate it and bring it home, in time for some local car shows.
The only item remaining is to find a radio wide enough to fit the 9" hole in the dash without looking crap. We looked at something retro but not sure what will work best. Any suggestions on what you guys have found would be appreciated as continue our search.
Will share pictures ones we have her home and in time for the summer!
Cheers,
Mark

Re: We're finished the build!
Congratulations! What a massive accomplishment, I can't wait to see pictures.
As for radios, I see a few options
- retro reproduction with modern capabilities that you'll pay an arm and a leg for (there's some lovely Becker reproductions out there that have Bluetooth).
- Headunit hidden under the dash that you don't see at all and control via bluetooth on your phone. (Somewhat problematic if the hole is already cut).

-Going to a classic car scrapyard and finding one you like the look of, then you'll only have FM radio capabilities but at least the dash will be filled.
I have all the wiring installed but never put a radio in, wouldn't be able to hear it anyways XD
