Hood latch

What hood latch was used on the sebrings?

Mine had a first generation Volkswagen Rabbit(Golf) latch.  They are also used for some street rods, too and reproductions are available.  However, the repros are not as high quality as the Volkswagen originals.  The original Rabbit latches show up on EBAY from time to time.

Search on EBAY for a MK1 Rabbit hood latch.  They are most often sold in separate parts.  Upper and Lower, but they are better quality.
