BN4LS75906 Carburetor Leak
Good morning all!
I started my 100-6 yesterday morning after letting it sit for a couple of months in order to give it the once over before parking for the winter. Once pressure built up on the fuel system it started with ease. The problem is that the carburetor closest to the fire wall leaked.
I shut the car off and started to investigate. When I turned the ignition on to pressurize the fuel system again the carb leaked. It seems to be coming from the bottom of the diaphragm casing. I removed the carburetor and checked the four screws securing the float chamber and found them to be secure. I'm pretty sure the leak is coming from the mating surface between the diaphragm casing and the float chamber.
When I searched for replacement parts / rebuild kits this morning I can't find anything that shows a gasket between those two components. Can anyone provide me any insight into this?

ummmm......
Wow - a real 100-6 is way cool. I've owned 7 original British cars and I'm thinking you posted this on the wrong blog.
Doubt more than a few people here have ever heard of a BN4 {early or late}. Haven't had a SU apart for way too many years to remember.
Has to be something on the web besides Moss Motors.

Yes, I posted this to the wrong site. I own a 1990 A.H. Sebring kit car as well as the BN4 in my post.
I pulled the carbs and they are currently going through a rebuild.
The Sebring is getting upgraded as well. Fuel injection, cooling system and front and rear suspensions.
Thanks for your reply.
