Door and Window repair
I need to service the window regulators in my Sebring. The handles etc need some tweaking. How do I get in there to service them ?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Hey J,
How detailed instructions do you need ?
It's pretty straight forward to get to them.
Take off the winder handle and door latch.
Remove arm rest and/or pull strap if so equipped.
Remove door panel.
If you have an assembly manual, there are pretty good instructions there. If not, you can download one from the "Date Base" on the home menu.
These came out of a 4 door Chevy Chevette. Kinda hard to find good used units now days.

Also, there should be a window just below this post that says "Similar topics"
Might find something useful there.

I hope this may help someone in future. The window mechanics are from a 1968 and later Volkswagen Beetle. This makes it easier to find period correct window cranks etc. Check out products made by Empi. They seem to be of higher quality than most.

Hi J,
Sorry, i didn't even think of the VW set up. Was used on early cars.
Guess it's a good thing since they are a lot easier to get.
