I found a dealer or two who has this materiel but is sourced overseas and only in 44" sections Healey's need 51" he says shipped cut to length buy 2 ??e bay dune buggy windshield seals

Hi Bruce, I was checking parts available at one of the links on this site.
They have a cowl gasket that looks like the one used on our Healeys. Length may be different though.

that piece is 45" and is too short buy 2 with seam in the middle?

I know that there are kits that allow you to custom make o-rings using Super Glue to connect the ends and they seem to hold up fairly well.  It should be possible to glue 2 sections of cowl seal together.  If a supplier can't be located for a custom length, gluing may be the only option.

I will be needing to replace my seal during reassembly, so I'm interested in a solution.  I located a supplier of Manx dune buggy seals on EBAY, but haven't bought anything yet. They are advertised as 44".
