Grommets for seabring 5000

Does anyone have a picture of bumper grommets?I need to make them. Thanks

I found some at Lowe’s. I did need to enlarge the outer groove for the body/ fiberglass to fit in but they worked great

Mine aren’t really like that. The holes in the body are considerably larger than the mounting post so the grommets have to actually fill the gap around the posts.

Haven't seen that. So, the rubber "grommets" support the front clip on the aluminum sleeves? Have to check the build manual tomorrow. Didn't know that. Mine has been this way since i built it and have no stress cracks.

thanks guys....I'm pretty sure the grommets are involved with body support and fit like Chris says....I think the grommets have to be in place before you adjust the doors

Seems someone chose to do some kind of modification from the build manual. There is a reinforcement there in between layers of fiberglass. Believe it's a piece of plywood. The front and rear clips were suppose to mount on the 1-1/4" aluminum spacers as shown in the pictures. Mine came with rubber grommets that slide on the aluminum bumper cylinders from the back side of the body.
