New Member Question
Thanks for letting me in!
I am picking up am 86 build tomorrow for a more than fair price with 13,000 miles on it.
it has the traditional scoop on the hood and not the ridges,
Can someone help me understand the model differences with Custom Roadster replicas?
I am sure I will have many more questions
Arthur

Re: New Member Question
Hey Arthur! Welcome to the forum!
Model differences are relatively simple. For American made cars:
-No fender flares (stock Healey looking body) = Saxon (equivalent to British SX)
-Fender flares = Sebring
-With leaf-spring rear suspension = Sebring 5000
-With 4-link rear suspension = Sebring MX (Equivalent to British MXR)
The rear clip of the MX has slightly wider flares compared to the 5000, but the rest of the body is identical. British Sebrings also had a model called the TMX which has a different flare style.
However don't worry about the british cars, they were never sold here. Just included them for extra info.
