Accelerator pedal
Has anyone found a nice looking aftermarket accelerator pedal that mounts well in a Sebring? Even better would be one with an adjustable stop.

Re: Accelerator pedal
I have no specific parts to recommend, other than to say look into some of the billet offerings by street rod suppliers like Lokar and others. Unfortunately, they tend to be crazy expensive.

Do you happen to have a Lokar part #? Looks like they have quite a few configurations. I have the stock Ford pedals in mine.
thanks

Re: Accelerator pedal
Hi Jeff- First time replying to a post. I just finished updating the interior of my Sebring. I also had the stock Ford pedal originally.
I replaced it with a Speedway chrome steel gas pedal (similar to Lokar sg-6007) for better looks (I also replaced the pedal that came with the Speedway assembly with matching gas and brake pedal pads) and it works fine. Just about any streetrod gas pedal can be made to work. I had to make a mounting bracket to go between the pedal mount and the floor to space the new pedal out and down. Used long 1/4-20 nutzerts to provide threaded mounting holes in the fiberglass floor.
Since I have a flexible throttle cable I made a throttle-stop out of an old hood bumper that I had and mounted it to an L-bracket also nutzerted to the floor.
