Is there a proper way to fold the rag top into the boot so as to not scratch the clear plastic area as well as not causing damage to the vinyl? I have a 62 replica. Tom

I usually just fold it down if I'm out and about. If it'll be down for a while or I have good weather and can afford to remove it completely and leave it at home I usually do...
At one point I had a cover made for it when it was folded down, ended up pinching the vinyl in two places and making neat little square holes in the brand new top. Not the best system IMO

We've owned ours for about 9 years now, storing it in an unheated garage from beginning of Nov.~ late April. Always with the top up, windows up, anti-freeze/coolant mixed to -40ºF.. Fuel stabilizer added to the gas ... dust cover in place and the wheels off the ground. No issues to date. Georgetown, Ontario can occasionally see temps as low as -30ºF.
