Mounting Emblems & Badges?

My Saxon came with the small set of wings on the front and I have purchased a MKII badge to replace it. My question is have any of you mounted badges and do you drill and bolt them or use the tape.

Mine came with 2 threaded studs (8-32?) back in the day when tape wasn't readily available,
Must warn you though, it being a genuine British part, it leaks oil and emits smoke.

Your right and being Lucas I am sure it will drain the battery too!!!!
Its quite hollow on the back side and not flat so I don't think tape would work
