"World's First Bagged Healey"
The world's first bagged healey... or so read the title of a youtube video I was directed to when browsing an article about the "Players Classic" car show on the Speedhunters blog, and came upon some images of this car. It is an original 100-6 slammed to the ground on air-ride suspension.

Any thoughts gentlemen? Perfection or Perversion?

The youtube video (which has a complete lack of information on the actual car), can be found here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

I hope she is glad she trashed a classic. Such a waste.

Just thought I'd drop a comment on here as its actually my car.. But that car can be put back to completely standard within approximately 4hours..! So I wouldn't say it was trashed in any way..! Also it now has perfect ground clearance whatever the terrain and rides far superior to that of the original leaf springs! As the video goes thats not me so sorry for the fact that there is no information about the car in it.

I was on the fence about it when I first saw it. I do admit it looks good slammed, but very glad to know it can be put back to stock. Congrats! It seems like a nice "barn-find". Any videos of it driving you can share? Would be interested in seeing them.

I'm all for updating classics with resto mod ideas, it is not like these things are ultra rare and must be kept original for museums. Adding reliability and enjoyment as well as modifying to one's taste is also an artform. I bet it rides better than the terrible short wheelbase original with leaf springs. Leaving it so that it can be converted back is a great idea in case a future owner has different taste.
