Gallery Update

Good afternoon everyone, and welcome to a long awaited Spring Wink

The gallery has now been updated with all the picture's you've sent in and the corresponding storage space has been optimized. I invite anyone who does not have photos of their car in the gallery to send some in to [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] so that we call all drool over them.

For some of our new members who may not be aware, a replica registry has been set up where we will attempt to catalog the healey replicas of our members. It can be found [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] with info on submissions to be found [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Many thanks to those who have submitted images Smile

So you may be asking, what are future plans for the forum?

-Everything is pretty self-sufficient as it is, so most eventual changes will be cosmetic.
-I'm looking to eventually re-do the backgrounds and header of the site and bring them up to a more modern standard.
-Some pages of the site do not work well on computers who do not have wide-screens. I am currently looking at fixes for this issue.
-I will continue to write up my build thread (as I work on my car), and may write a series of tech articles on various subjects.
-And we encourage you to keep contributing in your own ways. A few of you have started your own build threads which have been phenomenal to read.

Cheers!

Thank you for all your work. One thing I have noticed is when I open my email and have an email notice from the group if I just click on the link and log into the site I am not taken to the posting unless I open another page and log into the site there. Just some info.

Sorry, I just tried it again and I am taken to the message to log in but when logging in I am taken to the home page and not the message.

I'll have a look at that Due, if I know my site architecture though it'll be hard to isolate

OK, it just happened again. I clicked on the link, a new page was opened, was brought to the page, logged in and was at the home page. Went back to my original email page, clicked on the link and came here. Go figure. Just thought I would let you know what happens. At least this way is better than it was.

Hmm oh yeah I know what you mean now, do you have the automatic login box checked, or do you store the password in your browser?

Another problem that's been driving me insane since the site's creation is trying to get the "follow thread" e-mails to actually contain the message that was added to the conversation. Not sure it can work though since images could not be included by the system.

I store it in my browser. Maybe I will try and see if I can set it to automatically log in.
I just looked and I have the "Login Automatically" box checked.

OK, it happened again, I clicked on the link, was taken to the site, logged in and was taken to the home screen. I left that page open, went back to my email, clicked on the link and was brought here to the proper page. I think it is a Gates thing .
