That's great! Smile  We can probably start sourcing little things from them to make sure they are trustworthy and eventually look at getting actual body panels.

Nice find!

My suspicious mind, but Classic Roadsters Canada {Bob Wrightson of Warman, near Saskatoon, Saskatchewan} is somewhere out there .... said that he had all of C.R.'s moulds for Sebring and C.R. 427s.
Now, 'Ryan' of Regina, Saskatchewan is suddenly in the C.R. stream of business ... wonder if he might just be related to Bob Wrightson ??

There is a long stream of posting on the Club Cobra site. I do not think the guys are related. Been some legal work to get access to molds. I believe a bank still has the molds but destroyed the frame jigs. The Club Cobra site has the more information. It is under Classic Roadster II.

Classic roadsters rides again. Empty Classic Roadsters return- not interested in Sebrings!

Post by jdmmgb Sun Mar 20, 2016 10:01 pm

FYI, I recently contacted Ryan Martens, new owner of Classc Roadster inventory, about spare parts for a Sebring MX. Hs reply was:

"Sorry we won't be supplying a lot of the parts for the older cars. Mostly body parts etc will be supplied. And we will mostly be focusing on the cobra."

Good morning, All. It would be interesting to know how many CR427 units were ever built ... compared to quantities produced of the Sebring 5000, Saxon & Sebring MX versions.
My sense is that someone in Saskatchewan hasn't figured out the market potential.

My thoughts are pretty much the same Jimbo.  Why would you focus on a car that is already cloned by many, many companies.  Some of those companies are solid operations that have been at it for years.  You had better have a very good marketing and business plan if you plan to go up against Factory Five. You MIGHT build a better car than FF, but you will have a tough time matching their name recognition.

Sounds like a 'bullet-proof' process of packaging, c/w the required copies of Customs Declaration for entry into the tender border processes of the U.S.A. are required. I did see one of the pieces years ago ...
'Fragile' screamed out at me ! If you can actually get the fish to stop wiggling around: get measurements, have a strong plywood box made up and organize a
U.S. customs broker to clear it if you can have it safely shipped !! Look at Google Maps and plan a summer road-trip ??

I have no answers about the Saskatchewan business{es} ...but it certainly seems a strange way to 'do business'.

Ryan hasn't responded back to me for over a month now. Hell of a way to start a company back up. Don't see his company even getting off the ground.
